Sükosim sheet metal extrusion technology is a proven process that combines stamping, deep drawing and cold forming to produce complex, fully integrated and extremely durable components. The Sükosim process changes and significantly improves extrusion technology, more than doubling wall thickness as compared to the base metal thickness to provide robust joints in high stress areas. Thicker extrusion walls also eliminate the potential for destructive rework and repair. The process also removes the need for weld nuts, stamped-in nuts, self-piercing nuts and ensures that potential joint failure from secondary processes is eliminated. Further, with the elimination of the secondary welding process, the Sükosim process prevents potential corrosion points that are normally associated with welding in the production environment.
